Andrew Kearney

Design Director, Designosaurs; Lecturer, SRH Haalem University

Andrew helps organizations excel at design and creative leadership. At the BBC, ITV and Liberty Global, and with his current clients, he has over 25 years of experience in designing and leading consumer products and experiences that span digital and physical domains, delivering multiscreen user interfaces and industrial design alongside a synthesis of business, technology, & design strategy.  

At Liberty Global he led design for all products, and drove creative strategy and innovation. He has also worked with leading media companies to deliver engaging and high-quality content and experiences across multiple platforms. Andrew is passionate about creating next-generation consumer experiences that blend digital and physical design, and empowering design professionals to develop their leadership skills and potential.

Carine Lea Chardon

Managing Director, Deutsche TV-Plattform

Carine studied law at the University of Cologne and the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She joined the Kirch Group in 2001 as a media policy advisor, and built up the political network at the European Union and in Austria for Premiere AG (now Sky Deutschland) as Senior Counsel from 2004 on. She has worked for the German Trade Association for the Electric and Digital Industry ZVEI e.V. since 2008, initially as Head of Media Policy/Media Law and since September 2020 as Managing Director of the Consumer Electronics Section. In May 2022, she additionally became Head of Division for the Consumer market Division, responsible for five industry sections including Consumer Electronics, Media Networks and Home Appliances.

Carine will start a new position as Managing Director of GFU – Consumer & Home Electronics GmbH, the brand owner of the global tech trade show IFA, as of October 2025. She also acts as Managing Director of the Deutsche TV-Plattform e.V. since August 2008.

Dan Fahy

Director Strategy and Transformation, Nine

Dan is a media executive at Nine Entertainment Company in Australia, contributing to the company’s Nine2028 transformation across streaming and broadcast, radio, publishing, sales and digital. Previously, he served as SVP, Streaming (U.K.) at Paramount Global, where he had growth and P&L responsibility for Paramount+, Pluto TV and My5 . Earlier roles include VP Commercial & Content Distribution at Viacom/MTV and senior positions at UKTV, WarnerMedia and Eurosport, with a track record in platform partnerships, windowing strategy and AVOD/SVOD monetization. He splits his time between strategy, distribution and commercial innovation to help scale audiences and revenue.

Leo Marti

Founder, Product Design Coach, Positive.Design

Leo is a Design Leader and Consultant with 15+ years of experience shaping products for BBC, HSBC, Nike, and other global brands. In Switzerland, he founded a design consultancy, built the UX team at RTS, and helped define the vision for Play Suisse. Today, he partners with organizations –including Le Temps – to scale design, coach teams, and deliver products that drive real impact.

Lucy Pullicino

Digital Accessibility & Inclusive User Experience Consultant

Lucy is a Digital Accessibility & Inclusive UX Consultant with over 15 years’ experience shaping and scaling accessible media and digital products. She led the accessibility and inclusive design of BBC iPlayer from concept to launch, and at Sky Q influenced UI, hardware, remote controls, and accessibility features. As founder of Inclusive Experience Ltd, Lucy partners with global brands to embed accessibility into product roadmaps and leverage it to drive innovation. Passionate about including underserved users, she encourages clients to engage disabled, deaf, neurodiverse, and older people in UX research to better understand access challenges and barriers.

Richard Waghorn

Chief Technology Officer, RTÉ

Richard is the Chief Technology Officer at RTÉ, the public service media company in Ireland.  Previously, Richard was Chief Technology Officer at the South African Broadcasting Corporation, and before that was Controller of Distribution at the BBC leading the implementation of digital switchover. At the BBC, he worked in a number of areas including strategy, online, interactive TV, distribution and radio production. Richard was a board director of Freesat, and project manager for the 2002 launch of Freeview in the UK. Richard holds an MBA from Henley Management College and is a graduate of the University of Leeds.

Chief Product & Technology Officer

Rico is an outcome-oriented Product & Technology Executive Leader focusing on digital transformation, product operating models, product-led growth, technology change and driving results through aligned, focused and mission-driven teams. Best known for being the Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) at Which? for more than 5 years, as well as leading BBC iPlayer, ITV Player and introducing a range of new digital services to market in collaboration with Apple, Google and Amazon.

Vibeke Nicholas-Gjesdal

Global Head of Product, Sky

Vibeke is Global Head of Product at Sky, leading multidisciplinary teams building consumer experiences across TV, streaming, and connected platforms. With a background spanning design leadership, product strategy, and platform delivery, she turns complex ecosystems into coherent, human-centred journeys. Her work focuses on accessibility, performance, and measurable outcomes, aligning user needs with commercial goals. Vibeke has scaled design systems, launched cross-market features, and fostered cultures of experimentation and continuous improvement. A collaborative, data-informed leader, she mentors emerging talent and champions inclusive ways of working. She brings Scandinavian clarity and UK-market pragmatism to shaping products millions use every day.
